AirXpanders(R) Announces Reduction in Force and Plan to Cease Operations
SAN JOSE, California, July 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --

AirXpanders, Inc. (ASX: AXP), a medical device company focused on the design, 
manufacture, sale and distribution of the AeroForm(R) Tissue Expander System, 
today announced that the Company has reduced its workforce and plans to cease 
operations.

The Company plans to immediately reduce its number of employees from 
approximately 35 to approximately 8, with further reductions planned for the 
near future. In addition, the Company is notifying customers that it is ceasing 
sale of all products immediately, and will not be providing customer service or 
sales support after Thursday, July 18, 2019. The Company anticipates filing a 
petition for relief under chapter 7 of Title 11 of the United States Code no 
later than July 26, 2019.
