Today, Leidos Australia (NYSE: LDOS) announced that it will deliver the first Survey Craft System to the Royal Australian Navy in November 2019. A key component of the Australian Navy SEA1770 project, the Survey Craft, will provide underwater hydrographic survey data to the Navy to assist with the safe deployment and maneuver of Naval vessels in remote or unknown maritime environments. As the Prime Systems Integrator, Leidos designed the Survey Craft System to undertake Rapid Environmental Assessments. In addition to rapid assessment capability, the system is also able to meet highest level of "Special Order Survey". Leidos and Navy undertook training on the vessel prior to the Pacific 2019 exhibition and Leidos will complete any final refinements to the craft, before handing over to Navy.
