During the fair, XCMG also hosted a technology and production promotion conference of large-scale open-pit mining equipment that was attended by more than 100 mining and construction companies across Indonesia. XCMG signed multiple strategic collaborations with notable Indonesian mining companies, including orders that totaled USD 50 million. "XCMG's market share in Indonesia is growing year-by-year, the series of events in Indonesia further enabled XCMG to expand its services in the Southeast Asian market as well as local support," noted Zong Li, Vice GM of XCMG Group. A key member of China's "Belt and Road" Initiative, Indonesia is also an important market in XCMG's global development strategy, where the brand has offered both great product and service quality with tailor adjustment. Following its fruitful exhibition at Mining Indonesia 2019, XCMG also hosted the first competition of the 2019 Global Good "Shovel Industry Heroes" Competition on September 25 in Jakarta. Fifteen strong operators selected across Indonesia competed in two of XCMG's ZL50GN loaders, an efficient, energy-saving and flexible model.
