As one of the iconic games in the Chinese game community, Legend has been
popular in China for nearly 20 years, with more than 600 million registered
users. The game series itself was a pioneer when it was first released and
achieved great success based on the concept of playing for free. Formed as part
of the continuous evolution of Legend, the National Legend Industry Alliance,
which instantly became one of the most authoritative voices for the game
series, is expected to help create an ecosystem that expands the game business
to include a number of new cultural elements, including games, books,
television programs and films, greatly promoting and building the game series
as a cultural brand.

90 per cent of the 108 publishers of the Legend series of games have joined the
Alliance, which will now represent every member's rights and interests. These
game publishers are looking forward to the Alliance solving various issues
related to the game series and to developing a new original brand around the
series by creating a united portfolio of Legend series games.

Supported by Yichun's city government as well as the city's Municipal Party
Committee, the press conference was attended by top government leaders from
both Yiyang New District and Yichun in addition to representatives from the
business community. The government leaders from Yichun met with the business
representatives at the event. Notably, the participating firms account for 90
per cent of the Chinese game industry's total output value.
