Xinhua Silk Road: China's Dongfeng Motor steps forward in going global

Chinese automobile manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) has recently 
held the event of Dongfeng Brand Night and AX4, AX7 and SX6 Launch Ceremony in 
Lima, capital of Peru.

During the Brand Night in Peru, Dongfeng Motor displayed the unified brand 
image with a full range of representative passenger car models and received 
orders on site. Taking the opportunity of this event, Dongfeng Motor focuses on 
the key markets integration and brand promotion, which is expected to boost its 
overseas regional marketing.

As an excellent brand with 50 years of history, Dongfeng Motor is a well-known

Suffering the recent steepening slump in sales of the auto industry, Dongfeng

export volume increasing year by year.

and regional marketing plan released at the conference, the company has set 
three goals: achieving overseas sales of 300,000 units, establishing five 
overseas vehicles assembly bases and creating more overseas star products by 
2023.
