Hyland Reports Cloud Services Increase in Singapore, Malaysia
SYDNEY, NSW, Australia, Aug. 4, 2020 / Medianet International-AsiaNet/--

Hyland, a leading content services provider for organisations across the globe,
has reported a significant increase in the number of organisations moving
content services to the cloud. Having recently launched Foundation versions of
many of its key products including OnBase, which offer more flexibility and
frequent updates, the company has seen growth in the number of organisations
deploying content services in the cloud, especially in the commercial
enterprise and banking sectors.

Rather than rolling out software upgrades on an annual basis, and relying on
customers to update their platform every year or two, Hyland’s Foundation
versions provide regular updates on a more frequent basis in the form of
enhancement packs (EPs). For its more than 1,100 customers in the Hyland Cloud,
this means faster enhancements and new features while benefiting from the many
core benefits of cloud delivery including less downtime for IT departments and
a simpler licencing model.

“Our cloud customers have reported increased satisfaction with the solution
because of the new levels of flexibility it provides,” said Eugene Chng, APAC
director at Hyland. “For large, diverse enterprises who require a cohesive,
all-inclusive content services solution it makes perfect sense, as they can
roll out the main platform across the business and then add applications and
additional services as needed, rather than pay for a whole suite of products
they may not require across all departments.”

All Hyland Cloud solutions are fully managed by the company, and therefore
subject to stringent security and quality measures.

“We take full responsibility for the software, including application delivery,
so it is critical for us to provide a fast, smooth, safe service with an
exceptionally high uptime,” continues Chng. “Not all cloud providers are
created equal, but because we maintain our own software in our own
environments, we need to ensure that our customers are getting the absolute
best service. This is a big part of the success we are seeing across the
region, with companies moving more services to the cloud.”

Moving content services solutions to the cloud also provides flexibility for
companies during times of change, making it easy to scale up or down as needed.

for cloud-based sharing and collaborating can be added or removed quickly and
efficiently, as circumstances dictate.

“As our CEO Bill Priemer said when OnBase Foundation first released, this is a
solution organisations can rely on into the future. We are already starting to
see forward-thinking companies securing their futures right now,” concludes
Chng.
