Representatives from China, Japan and South Korea Discussed Animation Cooperation in "Cloud Meeting" at the Chengdu Creativity&Design Week
CHENGDU, China, Nov. 9, 2020 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --

On November 6th, 2020, the 7th Chengdu Creativity&Design Week opened. This
creative event focuses on industry, fashion, space, cultural tourism and
digital creative design, and highlighted the digital cultural and creative
industry represented by animation.

During the 7th Chengdu Creativity&Design Week, Chinese and Japanese animators
exchanged their ideas through an online real-time meeting. Chengdu's animation
enterprises represented by Chengdu Aierpingfang Culture Communication Co., Ltd.
shared the production and promotion of Chinese cinema animation with Japanese
animation enterprises, showing the exuberant vitality and creativity of
Chengdu's animation industry.

Participating in the Chengdu Creativity&Design Week for the first time is the
Japan Animation Association and its member units, which come to China for
promotion. The representative of Tokyo Animation Awards, Ms. Kuroda, introduced
the winning works, award selection process and competition methods over the
years, and invited Chengdu Animation Company to participate in the competition.
Ms. Kuroda said: "For animation companies in Chengdu, their works can be
directly screened in Japan if they participate in and win awards at the Tokyo
Animation Awards. That is a good channel to expand their overseas influence and
open up the international market." Well-known Japanese animation companies such
as Asahi Shimbun, Japan Animation, PICONA and GONZO also shared their
experiences in copyright cooperation and production. Also, Chengdu Animation
Enterprises and students from Digital Animation Institute of Chengdu University
plan to study and exchange in Japan after the epidemic situation in Japan.

At another 2020 China, Japan and South Korea cultural and art festival, Quan
Yuhe, a representative of South Korea's Picto studio, presented the popular
South Korean cartoon "Penguin Polulu".

During the sharing, Korean companies also hope to break the constraints of
regions and cooperate to produce more animation works that can enter the
international market.
