Chiba Prefectural Government Selling Sweets Using "Beniharuka" Sweet Potato and Running Giveaway Campaign in Singapore

The Chiba Prefectural Government is selling a new type of sweet using 
"Beniharuka," a variety of sweet potato grown in the Prefecture, in Singapore 
to let local people know the deliciousness of the sweet potato.

The new product, available at "Tarte by Cheryl Koh," where famous patissier 
Cheryl Koh is working as a chef, is a tart with elegant sweetness and smooth 
texture. It also has a beautiful appearance.

In line with the sale of the new product, a giveaway campaign for the tart has 
also been underway since Dec. 14, 2020. Everyone is encouraged to participate 
in the campaign.

1. Sale of the tart using "Beniharuka" sweet potato grown in Chiba Prefecture
Dates: Dec. 11 (Friday)-Dec. 31 (Thursday), 2020

2. Tart giveaway campaign
The giveaway campaign is carried out on the Facebook page of Chiba Prefecture's 
official mascot character CHI-BA+KUN. Winners will receive a box of two tarts 
using "Beniharuka" of Chiba Prefecture. Applications are now being accepted for 
the lottery.

Application period: Dec. 14 (Monday)-Dec. 31 (Thursday), 2020
Application method: Applicants must meet the following two conditions.
1. Follow CHI-BA+KUN on Facebook and comment on the campaign article.
2. Follow Cheryl Koh's Instagram.

3. Chiba Prefecture Agricultural Product Fair/CHIBA SWEET POTATO FAIR 2020

Venue: Basement food floor of Isetan Scotts (Singapore)
Content: Publicity and sales for the sweet potato ("Beniharuka" variety) grown 
in Chiba Prefecture will be held at the done agricultural product corner.
