THE 2022 SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL VIOLIN COMPETITION STREAMED LIVE

to be partnering with the Singapore International Violin Competition! Starting 
December 1st, 2022, medici.tv will broadcast the competition's third edition in 
full, and livestream all performances on its dedicated website.

First begun in 2015 and hosted by the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, the 
triennial Singapore International Violin Competition is a landmark cultural 
initiative for Singapore and beyond, promoting the continuing strength of 
classical music today. This year, from 1-14 December, medici.tv will broadcast 
the First Round, Semi-Finals, Finals, and Grand Finals of the competition, live 
from two of Singapore's top performing arts venues, starting with the YST 
Conservatory Concert Hall and followed by the Victoria Concert Hall.

For this edition, top young virtuosos will perform sensational violin 
repertoires under the baton of Joshua Tan (who conducts the Singapore Symphony 
Orchestra in the Grand Finals) and before a renowned jury chaired by Qian Zhou. 
The candidates' native countries include China, Denmark, Germany, Hong-Kong, 
Japan, Latvia, USA, South Korea, Switzerland, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, and 
Ukraine. With this diverse panel of nationalities, the Singapore International 
Violin Competition confirms its global appeal profile for discovering 
tomorrow's international stars. It is at the core of medici.tv's vision to 
support these talented artists and accompany them in their rise to success by 
putting them under the spotlight internationally and creating a bond between 
them and their audience.

For the occasion, medici.tv has launched a newly dedicated website to make the 
Singapore International Violin Competition accessible to audiences all across

The triennial Singapore International Violin Competition was launched in June 
2014 as a landmark cultural initiative for Singapore and beyond, and has since 
grown to become one of the most globally distinctive competitions of its kind.
