N.C.N. Limited (NCN) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Xinhua News Agency. It was officially registered and set up in Hong Kong in 1979 as a Hong Kong-based business unit of the Xinhua News Agency for overseas exchange and cooperation.
NCN is the sole agent for distribution of the Xinhua News Agency's news products in the Asia-Pacific region. It supplies Chinese news, English news, Chinese economic information, photos and graphics, video programs as well as the Xinhua multi-media database.
NCN's operations also include publication, distribution, advertisement, business consultation, translation and newspaper clipping. It offers translation service in more than 30 languages and clips from nearly 3,000 newspapers and periodicals published in different provinces, cities and counties of China.
